MINUTES – NEW DOSEY TOWN BOARD REGUALAR MEETING – DECEMBER 12^TH, 2023.

Meeting called to order at 6:05pm by Chair Dave Fornengo.  Present were the following: Supervisor Jason Canesi John Fornengo, Treasurer Wayne Hessler, Clerk Tamara Miritello and NPAHD Representative Robin Fornengo. From the public wase Bev Carlin

PUBLIC IMPUT:   

                Motion by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to approve the December 12^th, 2023 agenda. (Carried 3-0)

                Motion by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to approve the minutes from November 14^th, 2023 meeting. (Carried 3-0) Amended to the minutes were Robin Fornengo was absent at the November meeting. 

Treasurer’s Report and Cash Balance Statement – Ending balance as of November 30^st, 2023 at Northview Bank $46,242.35 – Waiting for FEMA info for road reimbursement.

Motion by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to approve the Treasurer’s Report. (Carried 3-0)

                Books are being worked on for the 2022 year

Clerk Tamara Miritello prepared the Claims and Payroll list for approval.

   1. New doctor in Moose Lake Oncology will be going to Sandstone once a week.
   1. Hinckley Clinic will be open in March and hoping to have a Pharmacy

   1. Bev Carlin will attend meetings
3. Light has been ordered for the townhall

Friday, December 22^nd, 2023 at 4pm at the New Dosey Townhall.

Topics of discussion will be to certify the 2024 Levy to $78,000.00.

March 2023 at the annual meeting the public voted on our current levy of $60,000.00 to increase the amount by $18,000.00 to a grand total of $78,000.00.  to keep up with maintenance and repairs to township roads.
