Meeting called to order at 7:40 PM by Anthony Fornengo. Also present were the following: Supervisor Dave Baker, Treasurer Wayne Hessler, NPAHD Representative Fran Levings and Clerk Tamara Miritello. Absent were Deputy Clerk Samantha Gardner and Chair Dave Fornengo.

CLERKS REPORT:

  1. New Dosey Township Calendar for 2021 has been posted.
  2. East Central Regional Development commission sent an invite to participate in the East Central Regional Development Commissions Legislative Roundtable on Economic Development. Thursday, December 17th, 7PM. Due to the pandemic, this event will be held by online/telephone format.  The focus of this legislative roundtable is to provide local units of government an opportunity to provide insight and comment on issues impacting our communities before the start of the 2021 legislative session.  
  3. Clerk will be posting notice on the upcoming election for New Dosey Township. Supervisor Seat (3-year term) and Treasurer seat (2-year term).  First day for filing will be Tuesday, December 29th, 2020, and the last day will be Tuesday, January 12th, 2020 at 5:00PM. (Filing office will be closed January 1st, 2021 for New Year’s Day.) Filing fee is $5.00 and can be filed by appointment with Clerk.  This is NOT a mail in election.  – Elections will be following social distancing and masks are recommended.

OLD BUISNESS:

  1. Road Work –The hole on Kingsdale has been filled.
    1. AJ Fornengo had the Ford serviced and is ready for the season. .

NEW BUISNESS:

NPAHD Report – Prepared and presented by Fran Levings.

  1. The following outgoing Board Directors were honored at the November 24th meeting.
    1. Wayne Oaks
    1. Keith Osgood
    1. Larry Johnson
    1. Curt Nelson

Several new board members were elected on November 3rd, and will be installed at the January meeting.

  • The Health Care Leadership Summit held via Zoom on November 19th was very successful.  23 Health Care agencies from Pine County were represented. The top 3 health priorities identified for Pine County were:
    • Mental Health
    • Obesity
    • Substance Abuse Disorder
  • Pine County COVID Report as of December 9th, 2020  –
    • 1758 Cases and 10 deaths
  • Fran Levings will now use her former Clerk laptop for Hospital District purpose and will set up new email address.

Tri-County Disposal Report – Prepared and presented by Dave Baker.

  1. All the parcels in the five townships with duplicate owners will be removed. (If John Doe owns three parcels it would only count one of his parcels. However, if John & Jane Doe own one parcel, John Doe owns one parcel, Jane Doe owns one parcel, and this would be counted as three).
    1. Only the improved parcels in all five townships, with all owners (if John Doe owns three parcels with buildings on all three of them it would count all three parcels. If John Doe has a parcel with a building on it and a parcel that is vacant it would only count on the improved one)
    1. $75.00 per improved parcel.

Anything else to come to the board?

                Dave Baker will be looking into ditching work around creeks and what permits or rules those need to be followed for the up coming year.
