MINUTES – NEW DOSEY 2025 BOARD OF REORGANIZATION – March 13th, 2025

Meeting called to order at 5:31 PM by Dave Fornengo. Also present were Jason Canesi, John Fornengo, and Katie Krejci.

Pledge of allegiance was conducted.

Swear in Newly Elected Officers

  • John Fornengo sworn in as Supervisor for 3-year term (2025-2028)
  • Katie Krejci sworn in as Clerk for 2-year term (2025-2027)

Town Chair Selection

Motion made by John Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to select Dave Fornengo as Town Chair. Carried.

Motion made by John Fornengo, second by Dave Fornengo, to select Jason Cansei as Vice Chair. Carried.

Adopt Schedule for Upcoming Town Hall Meetings

Currently scheduled as the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM.

Motion made by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to adjust the schedule to the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 PM. Carried.

Approve Compensation Adjustments

Motion made by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to approve the following wages for township staff. Carried.

  • Chair $125/meeting
  • Supervisors $100/meeting
  • Treasurer $100/meeting
  • Clerk $125/meeting
  • Labor $25/hour
  • Operator $35/hour

Designate Posting Place(s) in Town Hall

Motion made by Dave Fornengo, second by John Fornengo, to approve the location of the post board outside of the town hall. Carried.

Designate a Bank for the Town Depository

Motion made by Dave Fornengo, second by John Fornengo to continue using Northview Bank in Sandstone for the township depository. Carried.

Resolution of Cooperative Association

All board members not present to sign. Tabled until April Town Hall Meeting.

Motion by Dave Fornengo (moderator), second by Jason Canesi, to adjourn at 5:53 PM.

MINUTES – NEW DOSEY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF RE-ORGANIZATION MEETING – MARCH 21st, 2022

Meeting called to order at 7:30pm by Dave Fornengo. Present were Supervisor’s Dave Baker and Re-Elected Anthony Fornengo, and Re-Elected Clerk Tamara Miritello. Absent were Wayne Hessler

Motion by Dave Baker, second by Dave Fornengo, to approve the agenda.

Anthony Fornengo took the Oath of Office for a 3-year term as Supervisor. 

Tamara Miritello took the Oath of Office for a 2-year term as Clerk.

Motion by Dave Baker, second by AJ Fornengo, to elect Dave Fornengo as Chair of the Board for 1 year.

Motion by Dave Baker, second by Dave Fornengo, to elect Anthony Fornengo as Vice-Chair of the Board for 1 year.

Anything else for the good of the cause?

  1. Road Review will be set at April Regular Board meeting.

Meeting called to order at 7:30pm by Elect Dave Fornengo. Present were Supervisor’s Dave Baker and Anthony Fornengo, Clerk Tamara Miritello. Absent were Wayne Hessler and Samantha Gardner.

Motion by Dave Baker, second by AJ Fornengo, to approve the agenda.

Clerk Miritello had Dave Fornengo take the Oath of Office. Mr. Fornengo for a 3-year term as Supervisor. 

Motion by Dave Baker, second by AJ Fornengo, to elect Dave Fornengo as Chair of the Board for 1 year.

Motion by Dave Baker, second by Dave Fornengo, to elect Anthony Fornengo as Vice-Chair of the Board for 1 year.

Anything else for the good of the cause?

  1. Resident called in regards to road conditions. Will review during the 2021 Road review.
