CLERK’S REPORT –

- MN Association of Townships District 7 Special Election (Elect MAT Board of director) Tuesday, January 31st, 2023.
- Pine County will be doing property assessments for 2023
- Fran would like a file cabinet as the two on hand are full – Dave Fornengo, might have one to donate.
- Preliminary Damage assessment from 12/13-12/15 storms have started.
- Dave Fornengo has been in contact with County and along with the teams for natural disasters. More info to follow as we are getting estimates on current damage and spring damage. This will be a two-part expense. 8 Counties have been affected by this storm and will seek reimbursement from the state.
- Wayne had snow plowing questions per late sign ups for plowing and non-payment.
- If you are on the list for plowing but no payment has been made, you will NOT be serviced.
- Resident called about the trees on Hay Creek as they pose a risk of falling.
- A call will go out to have trees removed
- Clerk training in February.
OLD BUISNESS
- Road Work/snowplowing/private drives
- Late sign ups for private drives must have driveways already plowed. We cannot service new driveways with 3’ of snow built up on them.
- Most roads have been cleared of tree damage and been serviced with grader. Dave and Jason have been working long hours and have prioritized whose driveway will be service first as full-time residents will be first, then cabin/landowners. WE appreciate everyone’s patience as this storm was very different compared to past years.
- The board would like to look at redoing the private drives policy as it has been eating up a lot of time. Furthermore, when the current policy was drafted, inflation wasn’t taken into consideration. The board will be coming up with different ideas and will be presenting them at the annual meeting for a vote.
- Grader
- During service there has been some damage done to the grader, due to trees and debris on roadways. Dave has parts on order and will be preforming maintenance to the grader in the upcoming weeks. Some repairs will have to wait till spring. A scheduled Spring service will be done at that time as well.
NEW BUSINESS
- NPAHD Report – Fran Levings

Anything else to come to the board? – NONE
