New Dosey Township Special Meeting

Friday, December 22nd, 2023 at 4pm at the New Dosey Townhall.

 Meeting called to order at 4:00pm by Chair Dave Fornengo.  Also, present was Supervisor’s Jason Canesi, John Fornengo, and Clerk Tamara Miritello.                                              

Topics of discussion will be to certify the 2024 Levy to $78,000.00.

March 2023 at the annual meeting the public voted on our current levy of $60,000.00 to increase the amount by $18,000.00 to a grand total of $78,000.00.  to keep up with maintenance and repairs to township roads.   Clerk Tamara made a clerical mistake and only wrote down the increase amount of $18,000.00 for the 2024 Levy for New Dosey township.

A motion by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi to certify that the Levy for New Dosey Township should be $78,000.00 for the year of 2024, and NOT $18,000.00.  (Carried 3-0)
