MINUTES – NEW DOSEY TOWN BOARD REGUALAR MEETING – JULY 11^th,2023.

Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Chair Dave Fornengo. Also present were the following: Supervisor’s Jason Canesi & Anthony Fornengo, Clerk Tamara Miritello, Treasurer Wayne Hessler and NPAHD Representative Robin Fornengo.

PUBLIC IMPUT:

Motion by Dave Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to move NPAHD Report to beginning of the meeting. (Carried 3-0)

The board is inviting more speakers to the meetings (senators and county reps). EMT Training offered, and there will be an award Honoring Fran Levings on August 25^th, for her dedication to the board.

Motion by Jason Canesi, second by Anthony Fornengo, to approve the July 11^th, 2023 agenda. (Carried 3-0)

Motion by Jason Canesi, second by Anthony Fornengo, to approve the minutes from June 13^th, 2023 meeting. (Carried 3-0)

CLERK’S REPORT –

Township Legal Sept. 16^th, 2023 – Rutledge

OLD BUISNESS

ROAD WORK
1. A few culverts were added to road projects, otherwise road projects have been completed for the 2023 season. There is a clogged-up culvert on Kingsdale that will be addressed. Might hire a backhoe to help with that project.
Dave has been making repairs on the grader and plow truck. Plow truck will need to go in for oil change for the winter plow season.

NEW BUSINESS

Little Ox Creek – a request has been made to extend the road. The board review the plat book and went over the cost. It was decided that the property owner would have to haul in material to bring road up to standards as the township doesn’t have the funds.

MINUTES – NEW DOSEY TOWN BOARD REGUALAR MEETING – JUNE 13^th,2023.

Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Chair Dave Fornengo. Also present were the following: Supervisor’s Jason Canesi & Anthony Fornengo, Clerk Tamara Miritello, and Treasurer Wayne Hessler.

John and Karen Mishler joined us from the community.

Karen was wanting information on the cemetery plots. (We will contact her with that information with in the next week or two)

Motion by Anthony Fornengo, second by Jason Canesi, to approve the June 13^th, 2023 agenda. (Carried 3-0)

Motion by Jason Canesi, second by Anthony Fornengo, to approve the minutes from May 9^th, 2023 meeting. (Carried 3-0)

Treasurer’s Report and Cash Balance Statement – tabled (Carried 3-0)

We have the go from the MN State Auditor to close out 2021 books.

Motion by Dave Fornengo, second by Anthony Fornengo to write off the difference between both systems. Wayne’s balance of -$1,034.86 and Tamara’s balance of $-337.46 the difference between both systems is $697.40. Ending balance in the bank on December 31^st, 2021 is $53,392.34. With the assistance of the office of MN State Auditor 2021 will be closed and can move forward on 2022. (Carried 3-0)

Thank you card from Seven County Senior Federation for the service contract donation for 2023. A note was added to contact them if anyone can use their service to help with Social Security or Medicare questions.
1. County wants to know if we want to remain a mail in district. Board would like to stay the same and keep New Dosey Township as a mail in district.

NPAHD Report –
Dave Fornengo has tried to get ahold of the property owner on McDermott Creek Road to see if the township could access their property to remove the beaver dam that has water blocked up that comes over the road. He has not heard back as of yet.
Old grader has been listed for sale $12,000.00
